Oreo Pie For Beginners

Do you want to make a pie but don't like traditional pie flavors? I understand completely i have never enjoyed the usual apple, cherry or even pumpkin pie. Or are you in need of something that requires no baking, and can be prepped fast in the morning before a get together? Then look no further I am here to help you! This pie is quick decently cheap on the wallet and will have even the most picky eaters coming back for seconds!


Below is a list of some ingredients that you will need to accomplish this amazing pie. I also will list prices of these items at my local store ( Kroger). These items are often on sale if you have a Kroger card. This is their free rewards service that helps earn you points towards discounted gas. The prep time for this pie is about 10 minutes plus refrigeration time which is anywhere from 3 to 4 hours.


WHAT YOU NEED:

2 pkg. (4-serving size each) cookie 'n creme pudding * these are 2 for $3 at Kroger or $1.59 each*

2 1/2 cups of cold milk * I use whole milk but any should work*

1 tub of (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed,divided * these are $1 at Kroger*

1 OREO pie crust ( 6 oz.) * I'm not sure on price as it was given to me*

5 OREO cookies cut in half * A pack is $2.59 at Kroger*


MAKE IT:

BEAT pudding mixes and milk in a large bowl with whisk 2 min. Stir in half the whipped topping.

POUR into the pie crust.

REFRIGERATE 3-4 hours until firm. Top with the remaining whipped topping and cookies just before serving. Keep refrigerated.


TIPS:

SUBSTITUTE Prepare using a HONEY MAID graham pie crust.
